Whenever something really legendary happens, it often becomes a part of the treasure of viral internet memes. From funny cat memes to memes of famous comedians getting slapped, our taste in comedy has changed!
Over the meme-making generations, our platforms to view such viral memes have also changed. Remember when you were on Facebook before your parents hijacked that platform? Yes! Believe it or not, Facebook was a huge platform where we used to view our daily dose of trending memes! Pages such as āRajnikant V/S CID Jokesā were a huge thing on Facebook back then for our daily cup of classic memes which are a huge part of our TBT culture now. Over a decade ago, memes such as the Troll Face, Success Kid, Bad Luck Brian, Nyan Cat, Poker Face Kid, Weird Face Girl, The Disaster Girl, etc. were a part of the meme vault full of internet treasure.

As the meme-viewing public started to grow up, the taste in memes had to grow up as well. From funny cat memes, people started viewing memes on celebrities or influencers. Whatever face or funny thing these famous people did or made, eventually became a meme sooner or later. For example, the most famous drake meme from his famous music video ā āHotline Blingā, that meme was so viral that people still use the template today. If you remember the old days when we used to desperately wait for AIB to release a new video, one specific video caught the internetās attention where they made dank memes out of Irrfan Khan and even recreated the famous Drake meme.
Nowadays if you do anything, it becomes a viral internet meme. For example, if a new episode is launched for your favorite TV show, it becomes a viral meme in seconds. Remember when HBO Maxās Viral sitcoms like ā āThe Last of Usā episodes came out every week, we had a new meme template every single day from different scenes? Even with their other hit show ā āEuphoriaā, new meme templates were made every day. Not just TV shows, but even award shows such as The Oscars are famous for coming up with new templates every year! Be it their hit selfie from 2014 or Will Smith slapping the life out of Chris Rock!
